Courtney Taylor, LMSW, has over 5 years of experience in a community mental health setting working with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness with adults and Severe Emotional Disturbance with children.  She has experience working with pre-adolescents, teens, adults, and people with intellectual disabilities. Courtney’s areas of treatment include grief, anxiety, social anxiety, trauma, depression, suicidality, self-harm, LGBTQ+ issues, phobias, school problems, relationship problems, and substance misuse. Courtney sees clients ages 10 and up. Courtney has a special interest in treating trauma and children in the foster care system.

Courtney utilizes a strengths-based, person-centered approach in treatment. She has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Motivational Interviewing. Courtney is also trained as a Tobacco Treatment Specialist to help tobacco users with tobacco cessation.

Courtney is under the supervision of Nicole Fenoglio, LSCSW.
