Wiffle is a yellow English Labrador Retriever and works as a professional therapy dog (PTD) with his handler, Katie Jo Connor.

Wiffle was trained as an assistance dog through CARES, Inc., where he was part of their correctional facility program. He was also trained at Springfield Correctional Facility and Ellsworth Correctional Facility.

Wiffle provides support during therapy sessions by being present, sitting or laying next to clients, and providing deep pressure therapy.

Using dogs in therapy sessions can help decrease anxiety, improve communication, and elevate your mood.

Wiffle loves playing hide and seek with his toys, sleeping on couches, and being scratched under the chin.

He can’t wait to meet you!
